Safari Day + Oisin's Birthday Eve Dinner

Rope drop at Animal Kingdom. Animals are most active in the cool morning air — get to Kilimanjaro Safaris first.

Morning (9am–12:30pm)

  1. Kilimanjaro Safaris — go FIRST. An 18-20 minute ride through a real savanna with giraffes, elephants, lions, hippos, crocodiles. No height requirement. One of the best family experiences at Disney World
  2. Na'vi River Journey (no height req) — beautiful, gentle boat ride through Pandora. Stunning bioluminescent visuals
  3. Avatar Flight of Passage (44") via Rider Switch — incredible simulated flying ride over Pandora. Oisin may be able to ride if he's 44"+. Otherwise, Robert & Rachel take turns. One of the best rides at Disney World
  4. Festival of the Lion King — outstanding live show with acrobatics, music, and audience participation. All ages love it
  5. Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail — self-paced walking trail with gorillas, hippos, and other animals. Shaded, peaceful
Note: DinoLand U.S.A. including the DINOSAUR ride, TriceraTop Spin, and the Boneyard playground are all permanently closed and demolished. The boys will get their dinosaur fix tonight instead.
